anyone ever use these companies? which one is cheaper? better quality? customer service etc.

We used the NDB place in Wildewood and didn't have any problems. We purchased wood blinds, shutters, savannah, and up/down blinds. They recommend buying their brand and they seem like good quality. They came and installed on two different days because different people do the shutters. They look great so I would say go for it.

I have also used NDB in Wildewood. It took 3 days to get our order, but we were very pleased. I would definitely recommend them.

I haven't used either of these companies, but I did just have a number of blinds done by Budget Blinds and they are really nice, couldn't be happier w/ them.

I used next whenever we get around to it blinds. They came out and measured, then told me that they would deliver between 8-12 one day in the next week. I stayed home. Guy never showed up until way after 2:00 p.m. (I had to take the entire day off). Turns out THEY measured wrong. So off they went again. Had to wait another two weeks to get them and take more time off. They did issue me a $200 discount because I complained and wrote a letter to headquarters. I would never do business with them again.

Ken Turing is very responsive to your wants. He won't try to sell you more expensive items. The quality of his work is top notch and I'd say significantly cheaper than Next Day Blinds. The installation is always included. They also frequently have coupons in the mail. He also advertises on SOMD.com.
Budget Blinds keeps its cost down because it has no shops. After you tell him what you want he places an order which takes about 2 to 3 weeks.

I have used Next Day Blinds on two occassions and both times I was very satisfied. The quality of "Total Block" is exceptional. They use excellent mounting hardware and if your windows are Square they will fit near perfect.
I had blinds made for 17 windows for a new home back in 1998 and have not had a problem yet. They did come back early on to make minor adjustments but of course at no charge.
I recently used them again for a new addition and they were fine other than they mounted the draw cords on the wrong side (which they fixed).
They are not cheap but you get what you pay for.
How about that.......................I love to fish but still can do the blind thing!!
