The door-to-door poll from Stop The AOC PAC yielded the following key results:

  • They don’t like her. She has a more than 2:1 ratio of unfavorable (50.88%) to favorable (21.37%) in public opinion.
  • They don’t trust her. Only 10.75% thought she had their best interests in mind in quashing the Amazon deal – 32.60% said she didn’t.
  • They don’t want her. 33.44% are ready to vote against her, and only 13.30% would vote for her.

The poll also found that a plurality of Ocasio-Cortez's district did not agree with her decision to sabotage the Amazon deal, which would have brought tens of thousands of jobs and billions of dollars in economic activity to her district.

But in her district the survey conducted by Mobilize the Message for the opposition group found weak support for the congresswoman.

The key findings:

  • 42% are unfamiliar with AOC.
  • 51% have an unfavorable view of her.
  • 33% are ready to vote against her, and only 13% would vote for her.

(I actually dont think that her election was truly an expression of popular will. It's pretty easy to bump someone off in the primaries. Just look at Dave Brat in VA. He knocked off Eric Cantor and subsequently lost a solid republican district to a democrat)

I believe being a known person will help her. Those unsure know who she is and not her opponent will vote for her. Its the name recognition that gets you elected or reelected. Look at John Sarbanes. If he was John Smith he doesn't win.

With only about 9% of registered Democrats participating in that primary it certainly wasn't much of an expression of popular will.

We're not talking about people who are informed or watch the news or pay attention to their government. Bronx, ya'll. Nancy Pelosi famously said that AOC's district would vote for a glass of water if it ran as a Democrat.

What's important and telling is that 100% of the leftwing media support AOC and prop her up hard. They fawn on this ignorant Socialist daily, and gush no matter what stupid thing she says. That goes a long way.

In her district in Queens, less than 41% would be able to answer the question 'who is the president of the United States?' (They may be able to tell you the name of the opposition leader in south Korea or how many different Pokemon you can gather on a given level.)

Because she is everywhere spouting her asinine programs and there are a lot of stupid people out there who are easily led by the media and cult of personality. She holds an awful lot of power with a portion of the populace. She's not some nobody to disregard.
