If there is any clearer picture of hypocrisy, I don’t know what it would be as we watch the socialist, trying to make a point attacking the rich, while partying with them, going to an elite event and being waited on. Watch as she even has someone who has to wear a mask holding up the train of her dress like a princess, as she beams on the arm of her boyfriend, without a mask, at the attention.

She later responded to a lot of the criticism, claiming, “I and my body have been so heavily and relentlessly policed from all corners politically…we had a conversation about Taxing the Rich in front of the very people who lobby against it, and punctured the 4th wall of excess and spectacle.” “I and my body” have been “policed?” Is she crackers? Seriously? She wore a dress to try to get attention. Now she’s screaming that she got attention? What does that have to do with “policing” her body anyway?

Her actions caused a lot of questions about the dress and whether she paid or was invited or somehow got a free ticket to the event. She claimed that she was invited.

Ethics Complaint Filed Against AOC Over Met Gala Attendance

In their complaint, the AAF argues that the congresswoman violated House rules by accepting "an impermissible gift," referring to the tickets, and has called on the Office of Congressional Ethics to open an investigation into the matter.

"Without prompt investigation and enforcement of Congressional Rules, the American people are likely to lose faith in the ability of Congress to police its members," the complaint reads.

The complaint further states that since Ocasio-Cortez said her attendance at the Met Gala was part of her official duties as an elected representative, the "receipt of the gift" must be categorized as a widely attended event or charity event, both of which are exemptions as outlined in the House rules.

AOC Slammed For ‘Crying’ After Iron Dome Funded: ‘Shedding Tears That Less Israelis Are Going To Die’

Top responses online to AOC’s apparent sadness that Israel would be enabled to prevent terrorists from killing its civilians included:
  • Max Abrahms, professor: “Her political loss, though theatrical, may well save Israeli and Palestinian lives.”
  • Ben Shapiro, The Daily Wire: “Crying over Israel defending itself ✔️. Crying over Haitian immigrants at the border ❌.”
  • Harry Khachatrian, political commentator: “Not sure if she is faking for clout, but AOC is apparently crying over the US helping fund Israel’s defensive anti-missile technology.”
  • Rich Lowry, National Review: “Is she crying over lacking the courage of her own convictions and voting present? Crying that we are providing funding for Israel to defend itself against rocket attacks? What?”
  • Amichai Stein, reporter: “AOC Tears on the House floor after the House passed a $1 billion funding for Israel’s Iron Dome.”
  • Moti Ankari, reporter: “I hate being petty, but @AOC is shedding tears that less Israelis are going to die. LET. THAT. SINK. IN.”
  • StopAntisemitism.org: “The ONLY reason AOC changed her vote from “NO” to “PRESENT” on today’s #IronDome bill is because she wants to take on @SenSchumer next year. Those tears aren’t fooling us.”

AOC Slammed Across Political Spectrum After Trying To Explain Her ‘Present’ Vote: ‘Always A Victim’

AOC attacked Democrat House leadership, calling their decision to quickly vote on the bill “reckless,” and then claiming the bill was “most controversial,” even though it passed with overwhelming bipartisan support, 420-9.

AOC implied that the situation created a “tinderbox of vitriol” where she became the victim of “disingenuous framing, deeply racist accusations and depictions.”

[clip]

AOC faced the most intense criticism from her far-left base and many of the responses were too vulgar to share, however, here are two of the most notable ones:
  • Ryan Knight: “That’s a whole lot of words to say that you are a coward who didn’t have the courage to stand up for the Palestinian people when it mattered most.”
  • Fiorella Isabel: “AOC always makes herself a victim. Ultimately she voted ‘present’ on apartheid because of a career move. It’s not the first time. She did this same move to fund Capitol Police with $1.9 Billion after initially saying ‘no.’ If your can’t handle doing your job, get the f*** out!”

!. Tears were fake she is a opportunist
2. Shes doesn't have the intestinal fortitude to be in Congress

"Devolved into a riot."

That was more of a "mostly peaceful protest" than anything during 2020. If anything, it was pretty much a bunch of people milling about, taking pictures.

And yet, this is the Insurrection Hill dims want to die on.

Fascism Is Coming—if an Incumbent Democrat Is Re-Elected Mayor?

Fearmongering from a leftist suddenly demanding party unity is humorous.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez criticized Democrat leaders over the weekend for declining to endorse far-left candidates, saying they are “playing a dangerous game with our democracy.”

Ocasio-Cortez spoke at a Buffalo rally for India Walton, the socialist mayoral candidate I wrote about Saturday who upset long-time Mayor Byron Brown in the June primary. The Bronx firebrand claimed a refusal to endorse her preferred nominee is part of a “fascist threat” in U.S. politics.

“Here’s the deal. There are many primaries where I have stood behind incredible community organizers, and you know what? That moment may not have been the time. That’s ok. We get up and we move on,” Ocasio-Cortez argued. “But when a nominee wins, I do not try to undermine the entire political party. We don’t try to do that. Do you know why? Because in the grander scheme of things, we are facing a very real fascist threat in this country. Let’s talk about the stakes. This isn’t a game.”

Ocasio-Cortez, arguably the most divisive Democrat in Washington, then reiterated her disdain for intra-party division.
