AP Is Aghast That the GOP Would Use Biden's Failures as a Political Weapon. Aghast!

A thumbsucker article presupposes that the reader is an ignorant rube and needs to be guided from Point A to Point B of a topic in order to have it explained to them. The problem for the reader is that the AP reporter writing the story — or most other mainstream reporters writing the story — almost always allows his or her own bias to permeate the story, making a “what it all means” story into a “what it should mean to you, you ignorant wretch.”

But the AP’s latest thumbsucker — “GOP’s new midterm attack: Blaming Biden for formula shortage” — makes a silly attempt to guide the reader to the conclusion that the Republican attack lines are politically motivated.

OMG! Really?

Republicans aiming to retake control of Congress have already sharpened a message centering around blaming Democrats for high inflation, expensive gas, migrants crossing the U.S.-Mexico border and violent crime in some cities.
But GOP leaders landed on an issue this week that it hopes could prove even more potent: tying President Joe Biden to a shortage in baby formula.

If the roles were reversed the media would be attacking the person in charge and not making excuses like they are now for their guy.

The thing about the baby formula chaos is, there were shortages last summer and fall.

They allowed it to reach critical mass and for the situation to become DIRE before doing a single thing to address it.

This - and virtually every other debacle this administration has fumbled, badly - serves to prove they are merely reacting to public opinion but otherwise showing no degree of aptitude to govern. A good executive deals with a problem BEFORE the fire burns down the house - a nitwit looks at the burned out husk and claims they weren't responsible.

See, and I don't think these people are stupid. I think they're doing these things on purpose. They like to crow about their education and station in life compared to people like me, so that must mean that the gas prices and baby formula shortages and inflation and all this other bad stuff happening under their rule is by design.

And of course if you look at the history of Socialism/Communism in other countries, you see the very same things occurred. So it has to be on purpose.

What's amazing is that progbots who are largely college educated and supposedly smarter than me are cheering it on and wanting more misery. I don't understand why they do that or what they get out of it, but there they are.

Read a good article about the formula shortage. Most of the blame lies squarely with the Government (surprise!) due to the WIC formula factory closing, the GOV had to source formula for WIC participants from other sources and buy in bulk (so to say) Couple this with the freebies being sent to the border and to Ukraine and VIOLA... shortage!

If you and others cannot see yourself that all these things that are happening are intentional and specifically orchestrated to cause as much pain and chaos as possible, then you are not paying attention. Or, you are one of those that implicitly still think that government is operating for the good of the people.

It has to be, don't you think? Nobody is this unintentionally inept, and then blatantly callous about it.

And 40-freaking-% of the country is giving this goober a high approval rating. WTAF??? It's like, what are you people looking at???
