I’m sorry Gurps, I was arrogant and nasty a few weeks ago about COVID infection rates in MD, I said it was over after Delta, you had an inkling more was to come and I was way over the top saying it was over.

I don’t understand this Chinese lab made virus, I never will, and maybe now I have some humility. We need testing, we need cheap tests to know when we are contagious so we can isolate but then live our lives otherwise.

I’m more grateful for the work Trump did against this germ warfare than I’ve ever been and I get why he is now pushing the booster, he knows we are at war, he can’t say it, but he knows it was a weapon made to attack us. He got our industries to make defenses and is now doing his magic to sell them. I’ve been sold, got my third and grateful he is telling us all to step up and fight the enemy with more defenses. #americastrong

Anyway, again, I'm still not getting their jab no matter what Trump says.

And you all can just quit mackin on my boy DeSantis right now. He's my Governor and you can't have him.

My objection to "cheap tests" is that a false positive could seriously screw with our lives - because getting a false positive is not just so you can inform YOURSELF. It becomes known to everyone. It's not like a pregnancy test, where you can learn the truth on your own - if you show positive, you're going to quarantine - and probably your family as well.

All because the test is way too hyper-sensitive and picked up a stray viral strand that isn't a danger to anyone.

When we were in Ethiopia, you can't leave the country if you test positive for TB. But false positives happen ALL THE DAMNED TIME in a country where people HAVE TB. At least two couples had to remain in country with their child, because the child tested positive - when of course, they didn't have the disease and left, later.

So are the wokesters claiming there’s many genders but grant that there’s only two sexes? Are they making the case that gender and sex are not synonymous?

We have, throughout the entire animal and plant kingdom (sometimes) a distinct two sexes. Why would humans be different?
