Well they announced it and it is very thin, .76" thickest down to .16" on the thin end. I don't need a new one but in a few years when I do this is going to be nice.

Went thru the tour. Looks nice. I was thinking about switching back to a Mac soon, this may be the platform. Have to look at it a bit more closely...

I like the added features to the trackpad. And you could always share a CD/DVD from a PC, but the new software appears to make it real easy.

They released a few good products this time around. Apple TV2 would be nice to have, but I am waiting for Sony to get its butt in gear and bring something to the PS3. Better yet Netflix needs to open up there service so it will work with the PS3.

One thing I found amusing... they provide OS Restore DVDs with the package, but no drive.... that's an option. That's funny.... I'm sure any USB DVD unit would work.

Yea I think with the remote disk you would be fine. I love tech and always look forward to the Apple Keynote.

There is no Firewire connections :( Thats one feature that sets Apple apart from PC... its their only computer/laptop that doesn't have any firewire connection...

Correct, it is the same price as a normal macbook and they will do it for you for free. Of course then you have to mail it in if you dont live close to an Apple store.
