Apples and Wine

Women are like apples on trees. The best ones are at the top of the tree. Most men don't want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt. Instead, they sometimes take the apples from the ground that aren't as good, but easy.

The apples at the top think something is wrong with them, when in reality, they're amazing. They just have to wait for the right man to come along, the one who's brave enough to climb all the way to the top of the tree.

Now Men.... Men are like a fine wine. They begin as grapes, and it's up to women to stomp the crap out of them until they turn into something acceptable to have dinner with.

The apples at the top of the tree are furthest from the roots; they're overexposed to the sun, and most exposed to pests, disease and parasites. Consequently, they're shriveled, undersized and taste awful.

The ones that fall from the tree are *RIPE*, tasty, juicy and full of moisture. It's a crap shoot as for pests and disease, but you have to get them as soon as possible, because they'll spoil fast if you don't get 'em quick. If you're quick enough, you can get a LOT of ripe apples in a short time. However, if you're stupid enough to climb the tree to get the ones at the top, you're gonna break your neck for something all wrinkled, dried out and bitter. There's a reason fruit falls from the tree - it's ready. There's a reason it stays on the tree until winter - it'll never be ready.
