anyone have any updated opinions or information for a appliance repair person in St. Mary's County? My mothers refrigerator (9 years old) and stopped cooling.

Sanders appliance in Callaway has done a good job for me, I'm not sure if there are any others these days.

Thats what mine did last week G.....I let SMECO take it they paid me $50....J's dad was a Sears repair man and he still does this on the side (in Pa) he said it does not pay to usually fix one. Let me know what Saunders says please...thanks

Mr. Sanders came out and said it wasn't worth fixing. He had some refurbished ones at his shop so she bought one of them. I think it was still like $800 but he removed the old one and put in the new/used one today. So far so good

I have bought numerous refurbished appliances from him over the years for a rental with no problems. It has saved me a lot of money.

That's good to hear TPD. He must work alone because mom said he had a heck of a time getting the old fridge out and then getting the new/used one in.
