Where is the best local (st. Mary's county) place to buy appliances? Sears? Lowes? are there any small non corporate appliance dealers?

There is P&W on Great Mills Road. GE appliances. Small, privately owned.

You will probably get your best price with the large retailers, but there have been some horror stories posted here about service, 'specially Sears.
