Fiscal year 2013 applications for grants awarded by the Charles County Board of County Commissioners are now being accepted. Applicants must be designated by the IRS as 501(c)(3) organizations serving the citizens of Charles County.
To access the grant application online, visit Charles County Government - Charles County Maryland and click on "Government" in the left navigation column, and then "Grants Awarded by the County."
Two training sessions will be held for organizations wishing to apply for grant funding. Attendance at one of the training sessions is mandatory for all grant applicants. The training sessions will be held on Wednesday, November 9, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m., and on Thursday, November 10, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. in the Charles County Government Building Conference Room (200 Baltimore Street, La Plata).
The deadline for submitting a fiscal year 2013 grant application is 4 p.m. on Friday, January 20, 2012.
