Ladies - When you apply eyeshadow, do you use a brush or one of those sponge-like applicators?

What brushes do you recommend?

I haven't worn eyeshadow for years (I'm allergic to certain colors/dyes) and I want to get back into wearing it. I just ordered some from Stila, but it comes without an applicator. I don't know what's best. :shrug:

I use brushes. I got a great set from Mary Kay.

Depends what look I'm going for. Smokey eyes, I use a sponge applicator, my finger or a Q-tip. For day to day wear, I use a brush.
