Tip has these wierd little black spots (very small) on her belly between her tummy and her privates. We have never seen these before. Any idea what they are? They aren't fleas - can't pull them off. Just some wierd skin condition or something. There isn't much hair there, so????

You may need to resize it so that the max pixel size is 400 x 400... do you know how to do that?
I don't even know how to attach it. That's what I need to know how to do. Hubby is here for instructional purposes only. Tell me how to attach a picture to the post??? I'm still a newbie.

Okay... hit the blue "post reply" button... you will see the text box you type your message in... below that you will see the "post reply" button you hit to post your reply. Look below that. You will see "manage attachments". Click that. Then click "browse". then click the file you want to select. Once it is selected, click "upload". If it's too big you will have to resize and do it again. If it works, you can close that window and then you will be back to the main post window... at that time click the "post reply" and your message will post along with the attachment.

Have you tried removing it with peroxide...
No, but I'll try that. Thanks for all the help in posting the picture. I was lost. Hubby and son took over and got it done, per your instructions. Let me try the peroxide thing and I'll get back to you.

We are going to do that in the morning cause she is in her pen for the evening. We also found fleas on her, so sprayed her. It could be from scratching????

It definately could be from fleas.. not just scratching, but also dried blood from them biting... they like that area as it is usually warm and dark. If that is what it is, peroxide should take the marks off no problem. You need to treat her (and your house) for the fleas tho.

I picked two fleas off her today, which is unusual for her. She's an inside dog. I will treat her tomorrow and we'll bomb on Sunday when we are off (hopefully) for a motorcycle ride. I think that is what it is from. Thanks. And where the hell is Appy?

You said you had just bathed her the other night when you came by..any chance you you let some shampoo stay in that area..it is the lowest point and a good area for the water from the back to settle to
There is a good chance that happened because I didn't rinse her real good underneath after I bathed her, but I did get the shampoo under there. Think that's it?????

Scrub her belly with baby shampoo (good on grease) or dawn and get back to me or bring her and let us do it..
Not hyrogen peroxide? She needs a flea treatment also, apparently. Saturday?

It's a minor staph infection on her skin, it will resolve on it's own with no help. many puppies get it. All dogs carry staph and and strep on their skin anyway that's why sometimes they get infected when they get scratched. Oh and if you have fleas go to Mr Willeys and get some FRONTLINE. YEECH :dead:

:yeahthat:

She's just probably been licking or chewing at it. Clean it up and put a little Gold Bond medicated powder on it. The idea is to keep it dry.
