Dear Marylanders,
This week, I announced that every single Marylander age 16 and older can pre-register for an appointment at a mass vaccination site. Nearly 300,000 Marylanders have already successfully pre-registered, and we encourage all Marylanders to pre-register by visiting covidvax.maryland.gov or by calling the state’s COVID-19 vaccination support center at 1-855-MD-GOVAX.
By the end of April, mass vaccination sites will be open and fully operational across the state. During pre-registration, Marylanders are able to select their top two preferred locations.
Additionally, the Eastern Shore mass vaccination site in Salisbury has opened a no-appointment-necessary walk-up line for any eligible Marylander, and we plan to add additional no-appointment lines at our other mass vaccination sites in the coming days. However, the best way to ensure you get a vaccine at any state site is to pre-register for an appointment.
With many Marylanders observing Passover or preparing to celebrate Easter this weekend, we continue to strongly urge you to do the things that have successfully kept us safe—wear a mask, wash your hands, and get tested if you must travel. And please, get vaccinated when it is your turn.
Sincerely,
