Folks, I think this is one cat to keep an eye on. Alli Owens, a 19 year-old ARCA rookie, is in the DAYTONA ARCA 200.

I have a feeling there's going to be a few teams watching her with interest. 19 years-old and performing well. This could very well be the driver who closes the gender gap in stock car racing.

Owens got knocked out early. First spin when she tried to pass someone who obviously wanted the position more. She kept it off the wall.

15 llaps later she got hit from behind and called it a day. SPEED never aired a replay or interviewed anyone caught up in any of the accidents.

Very poor coverage by SPEED of this race.

I stand corrected. Her website says the engine revved causing the car to break loose. It looked from the live shot as though someone got into her but SPEED never aired any replays.

I hope they let FOX produce the Duel races.

The coverage was bad, but not on the level of awful that ESPN is.

I googled her image...all I got were glamor shots. She's a nobody before she even gets started....
