Owings and Chesapeake, North Beach and Dunkirk. That is all I know so far..

I was wondering about that, since they have a shelter set up at Huntingtown HS, will schools be closed in all of Calvert?

I got let out of work at 4 today "before it got bad" and felt guilty when I left and saw the sun shining. On the way home I realized that the trees still had ice on them and what had melted on the roads was re-freezing, I guess it was a good call since the temps were starting to drop again and the wind was blowing really hard. Who knows what we are in store for tomorrow morning?

My co-worker was out today and she is with SMECO. Also, several other people I know in La Plata/Mechanicsville (SMECO) are out.

There are a a great number of people in Charles County without electricity. SMECO is their provider. They are predicting more outages as the night goes on due to falling limbs, etc.

Not going to be a good night for anyone. It could go out anywhere. I know several people that came into work today without power, don't think they could do it two days in a row.
