Are You Ready for Hurricane Season?

The lastest update and tracking is not looking great.
NOAA just directed changes to the satellite monitoring to increase the frequency of data streams that create the tracking models to facilitate more frequent tracking updates on Sandy's position and conditions.

Intellicast...I'll switch over to the NOAA Hurrican Center once it gets closer and the path more certain.

The timing couldn't be worse....got a bunch of bare walls sticking up in the air, just begging to be blown down again.
Weather Underground just updated at 11 and they show the storm staying well off to the east of us and heading for New England. As you know, pretty much all the wind and rain stays to the east of the eye so if it stays on it's current track your walls should be fine...:huggy:

Is there an elevator planned, or do you plan to use steps as exercise to keep you healthy?

I never really considered the north Jersey shore "New England" :killingme...but that's the same track I saw on Intellicast, yes.

Thing is..that track dropped the predicted shore crossing considerably south. The next update could bring it even farther south...

Jam out with ur clam out
It could... it could... but I really want you to keep your walls dammit! :tantrum:
....

he may need to hire a few extra mexicans... and get them working fast...

or the amish will have the house built by sat.

Obama destroyed America

I have informed downstairs to cancel all extra crews... they will not be needed.

:killingme
All they've done is contact and contract them. There aren't massive amounts of utility vehicles in a convoy to southern MD. :duh:

Exactly. I've finally got my walls up...and want to keep them there. :killingme
In all seriousness, the storm is still several days away. All it takes is a shift in one of the fronts and it could very well adjust eastward enough so that you aren't impacted in the slightest. Even the European model still has the eye to the east of us. We'll have to wait and see.

I'm sure the house will be OK; the crew is going to work through the weekend to complete so much other structure and interior walls that, with the braces left in place, nothing will be going anywhere.:buddies:

Plus its being built well above local code..built to basically coastal Florida hurricane code instead.
