Sun Trust bank on Cont. Ave, Northwest just got robbed and they found the van (get away vehicle) on fire. Dayum, this live footage is amazing. Chevy Chase is where the van was found and they have video of the armed robbery inside and outside. They were armed with AK47's. :yikes:

Can anyone find a link? I checked Fox 5, Washington DC, nothing is up yet. They have pretty good video footage, somebody has to know who these guys are.

It just so happened that a Fox 5 reporter was next door to the bank talking to a fireman at the fire house. He has footage that is incredible. The robbers came out and jumped into a green van (which was later found burned out in Chevy Chase). The getaway driver tripped over the curb running out of the bank.

A citizen followed the van and lost him. They believe these are the same people responsible for 5 or more armed bank robberies in DC and Maryland. No linkie yet. :ohwell:

I am suprised they catch anyone with bank cameras being so fuzzy. :mad: One good thing is the reporter has high quality video.
