Army says word 'Negro' OK to use

In a lengthy section of the document describing "race and ethnic code definitions," the regulation stated under the category "Black or African American" that would include, "A person having origins in any of the black racial groups of Africa. Terms such as "Haitian" or "Negro" can be used in addition to "Black" or "African American."

Maybe they meant the term was to be used by Latinos.

Otherwise... what else would they use when they want to say the word "Black" in their native tongue?

Word has been removed due to PC, even though its root word "negroid" is the scientific word defining the race, for now, at least. It is apparently an EEOC "trigger" word that could set off all kinds of allegations of the n-bomb being lobbed, except from and to those of said race.
