Not that I have any horse in the race, but have we gotten this stupid WOKE?? I guess so:

So, somebody, (race/sex/gender unknown ) wrote a racially divisive word (was it the N word/G word/H word?) on a High School students desk.... and the Principal is guilty of not jumping on the case immediately. Thats it in a nutshell folks.

I dont know what era you people , (uh-ohhh can I say "YOU PEOPLE") went to high school, but we shuffled classrooms and desks every hour or so. So, was this offended person the intended target???? What was the word scribbled on the desk?

And what was the Principal supposed to do? Call the FBI? DOJ? The NAACP? Some WOKE Social Workers? Do we need Play Doh rooms for the aggrieved?

Here's the bottom line. The Principal will have to hire an attorney ( The teachers Union probably wont touch this) , but his career is shot.

That, plus it's not unusual for a black person to use such a word. (We are all assuming it is the N word - racial insults thrown at my Chinese daughter are routinely ignored, and there's no chance they'd get all in an uproar over a Jewish slur).

Wootton is a high performing high school. You almost never see that with a majority minority school. I'm sure the Asian students are doing a lot of the academic heavy lifting.

13% of students are from low income families. Wootton students outperform other high school students in national testing.

Great schools website scores:
Math/Reading test scores - 8 out of 10 (They underperform the state average for the Algebra I test)
College readiness score - 10/10

This school seems like a pleasant place for kids to learn. They have a 1% suspension rate, so there don't seem to be a lot of disruptive students making life hell for kids wanting to learn. I don't know how much of the school's success can be chalked up to the principal. But I'd be concerned if I had a kid attending there right now.

Unless you are a minority, then you should be on the news 'splaining how you have to carry a knife in school to protect yourself 'cause people be writing slurs on the desks and $hit. Then the ACLU picks it up and they explain that the oppression and poverty you have suffered due to systemic racism and climate change have resulted in your scholastic PTSD and you are entitled to compensation and having a highway , school, and park named after you. There may even be a monument erected in your honor.
