I am going to be organizing a new art group in Leonardtown starting next Thursday. We will be in the Creat8 art studio, right off the square. Park in the public parking across from the hotel and we are in the yellow building behind the dumpsters. It is handicapped accessible, nice light and lots of room. Sept 5 1:30-4:30 painted stones $10
Come for an afternoon of painting on stones. Using acrylic paint we will make unique bits of art. Paints, brushes, stones and sealer provided
Sept 12 1:30-4:30 $15
Collage art, spend the afternoon snipping magazines, books and all kinds of interesting things to make a unique picture on mat board. So much fun, you can let yourself go wild! Mat board, magazines, glue, provided.
Sept 19 open studio felting $25
1-4:30 this is not a class, but I will be available to help you with your projects. It is an opportunity to share ideas and tips with other felters, and just have a fun time. I provide the tools and tables, you supply the inspiration. I will have some wool roving for sale
Sept 26 1-4:30 self portrait spool dolls. $20
Come create a mini me with spools, wire buttons, beads and all manner of things. Everything provided, just bring an image you would like for the face
