Aruba 2011

Just got back from a week in Aruba. It's more affordable than you think. The 2 bedroom 2 bath oceanfront timeshare condo I own can be acquired as a rental for about 1200 for a week. This year was the cheapest I paid in 7 years of going there. It was 420 pp round trip non stop out of Dulles. The condo has a full kitchen so you can eat as cheaply or as expensive as your budget allows. Take your own snorkel equipment and save a lot there. My son met up with his favorite TV star at the resort we stay at also. Him and his family have the same week we do. Awesome week. Came home to some tall grass.

We'll never go to Aruba - not even if it were free. Given how Natalee Hollaway's case & family was treated, our American dollars will go elsewhere for any tourism we may indulge in.

I agree also... but that is my personal stance.

I have family who own time shares there and they just love it and rave about it.

However I was always told it is very expensive. They said dinner for 2 w/ out alcohol will run you $100.

So you will be boycotting the United States now for what happened to Casey Anthony, or any other travesty of justice?
