Two questions from idiots in Montgomery County to Superintendent Horsman (Calvert), why can't they mind their own business?

Silver Spring, Md.: I watch in dismay what is happening in the fundamentalist Republican states and pray that it does not spread here. Have you heard of any move afoot to do as the president favors, and inject science class with religious doctrine? Please confirm for me we are not joining the backward states in the 14th century. Thanks

Wheaton, Md.: Is it true what I hear, that the Republican-controlled districts will be taking History out of the schools out of embarrassment for getting us into Iraq? Or will there be an "Intelligent Design" version of that topic, too?

"Chesapeake Beach: Superintendent Horsmon,</NITF>
<NITF>I have one child at Beach and one at WHMS, we are very pleased with the teachers and staff at both schools. One question -- why does Calvert wait until 4th grade to identify gifted and talented students? It seems later than many other countiles in the area.</NITF>

<NITF>Also, I though Silver Springs question was funny when she said she "prays" that counties won't be mixing religion with science."</NITF>
