Aspirin - Another Reversal

Sneakers

Just sneakin' around....
For a long time, doctors have recommended low dose aspirin as a preventative for heart issues. Now in a new study, this is NO LONGER recommended for anyone over 60, as the side effects outweigh the benefits, primarily internal bleeding.

In looking for a good source (damn paywalls......) I found this recommendation was made as early as Jan of 2020, but only being promoted now.

Yep, heard this awhile back. Thins the blood, may discover leaks you didn't know about. Father was put on thinners, complained about a headache and mon rushed him to the hospital because he never had a headache since they were together. Two miles to the hospital, he was in a coma by the time they got there.

Or since it prevents pulmonary blood clots during the Wuhan, can't have it.

My GI doc recommended I take aspirin daily when I last saw her at the beginning of this year. I take it along with 3 prescription BP meds.
