Assault on Guns - Maryland

Just sneakin' around....
Do they really think a criminal is going to pay attention to this? Again, it only affects law abiding citizens.

They certainly do not. Like Colin says, it's all about controlling the one group in America that has power, as detailed in the 2nd Amendment.

Politicians "heart" criminals the same way teachers and administrators "heart" bullies; the same way prison officials "heart" cell block leaders: they impose a kind of control via power and control; through fear and intimidation.

The parochial school modality of maintaining order, if you like.

It's exactly the same mindset that cops, prosecutors, and the rest of the judicial system has; that as long as order is maintained and the powers that be aren't bothered, then a certain amount of head-knocking is tacitly permitted.

When people get out of line and challenge the ruling order, then, well, anything that looks like a nail gets hammered until the rest fall in line.

Maryland has a Democrat Legislature, a Democrat Governor that will sign anything placed in front of him. I posted last week about the law trying to be passed by Charles County, that is basically this same law. The Constitution means nothing to democrats. If anyone has not figured that out by now they have brain damage. The SCOTUS is useless, The US Supreme Court has allowed people to be imprisoned for the last 2 years , they do not protect us.

The ballot box is no longer working. Democrats have figured out a way around that with early voting and mail in ballots. One day the tree of liberty must be watered, and democrats want to take away the method of watering that tree. They don't care about guns they care about Patriots having the power guns give them to protect their Constitutional rights. They seek a Government that they control.

Conservatives need to just write off MD and leave the state when the opportunity arises. Move to a state where you can live the way you want to.

This seems to be the response from those with common sense.
I have a "friend" who says, "there has to be some agreement on common sense gun restrictions" and I tell her no.
No, because there is no "common sense" when it comes to politicians and radicals.
The previous concealed carry law would have appeared to be "common sense".
With the exception that very few people met the criteria and even then the MSP was dragging the process out.
It's common sense that you can wait for a background check. Except they make the wait as long as possible.
Limit the size of clips is another "Common sense" restriction. Except if you have an older, more rare handgun and finding a smaller clip is next to impossible. Forcing law abiding citizens to spend extra money, and go through a protracted process is just their way to abridge the second amendment.
What do the criminal element think, they are laughing. Because they would have to be really stupid to apply to get a background check.
So we know they aren't going to do that.
Run out and get smaller clips, right.
Restrict the amount and type of ammunition you can buy. Sorry Mr. Store Clerk, I don't have a Driver's LIcense, but you can trust me.
No, they will just steal it.

Not make or use ghost guns, dah who the hockey puck do they think does this, the typical person who shoots or hunts.
So there is nothing "common sense" about the way they infringe on the second amendment.

Tis our plan for when my wife decides to retire.
We moved to Montgomery County from Calvert County 6 years ago to help family. We could go to La Grange TX to live on one of my bros self sustaining compound, but the thought of moving again makes me want to faint. :drama:

They are killing the 2nd. Amendment with the death of a thousand cuts.
Each time they pass another law we are a step closer to the banishment they are afraid to pass because they fear the results.
Meantime they are bleeding us out a piece at a time.
These are the people we elect that are doing this to us.
Votes have consequences.

Because this death of a thousand paper cuts is deemed "reasonable" conditions.
Plus each condition by itself is less likely to draw a challenge in court and they know SCOTUS would over turn one big law, so they flood the system with a thousand pin pricks from big dicks.
