At home or part time flexible job wanted

:howdy: I am a stay at home mom of 4 children at the present time. It does not benefit my family at this time for me to try to work a full time job outside the house because daycare and before and after school care would take my whole paycheck (if not leave me in the negative every week). My children go to school at 3 different times, with the second to the youngest going to school at 12:45pm. I am wanting to possibly take on a job such as cleaning someones house or something along those lines since I can not be stuck to a 9-5 schedule with the variance in times that my children go to school. If anyone has any ideas of something that I could do to make some extra money, I would greatly appreciate any and all ideas. If anyone that reads this and runs their own business and is looking for some help here and there with admin. duties, I have 3 years experience. The forums have been very useful to me before with finding my dog and I thought that I would just give this a whirl. Thanks in advance! :flowers:

Sell stuff on eBay?

Seriously, I've seen it described as sort of a "middle man" business. People commission you to sell their junk, you list it on eBay, package it, and send it off when it's sold, and keep 30% of the profit. Or, you could pack the kids up and drag them to the yard sales every weekend, buy your own junk, and sell it at an inflated cost for full profit.

Aside from some sort of online business, I suspect you won't have an easy time finding legitimate work from home.

Sounds like you found your answer there. Why not take out an ad in the somd.com classified section?

If you aren't shy, you can make TONS of money with your webcam....
I thought only single moms supported themselves that way...

Oh right, my bad... single moms support themselves by stripping... well, according to T-shirt hell anyway

(and before any of you single moms get all pissy at me... I'm a single mother myself and therefore am simply poking fun...)

08-29-2007 07:08 AM You make me sick to my stomach! I hope a rabid foaming at the mouth kangaroo with a pair of those old school 80's roo's on, and a small mexican knife yielding man in his pouch, comes hopping after you with a raging hard on.

Wow... can I just say that my JOKING reply in this thread is probably one of the least controversial things I have ever said and that's probably the worst red karma I have ever gotten in my life. It's creative, I'll give you that... but honestly... that's a bit extreme, I feel.

 Some people just can't take a joke. They have to cry and send you red karma.

That's what I did with about $1500 startup cost with classes/hardware/software/resources. You can work in your jammies and be home with the kids; however, US MT jobs are dwindling due to outsourcing to India and VR forcing experienced US MTs to move to quality control. A newbie should take courses from an accredited school that guarantees job placement. Msg me if you want details.

Wow, that was so poorly written, but with such good imagery it was damned funny!

You've definately got a fan club, Kris. :lmao:
