DALLAS -- As many as 20 nursing home patients were killed early Friday when a busload of elderly Hurricane Rita evacuees from the Houston caught fire then was rocked by a series of explosions on gridlocked Interstate 45, a Dallas County Sheriff's spokesman said.

I thought he was on hurricane detail? This must be Rove's fault. Although bus explosions, somehow I think a Democrat should get he blame because it is obviously not weather related.

A fire in a chartered bus filled with elderly Hurricane Rita evacuees, including some who used oxygen, killed 24 people and injuring at least one near Dallas Friday.

Authorities said the bus apparently caught fire due to a mechanical problem, and that oxygen tanks then started exploding on gridlocked Interstate 45.

The explosion is horrible, but I must admit I laughed when I read that.
