So what's your problem with this solicitation? If the price came in at $37K that's about $18 each for the engraved Leathermen. That's about the same price they're selling for commercially without the engraving.

They're buying engraved leathermen, not just the engraving.

It is what it is engraved with. Are you familiar with H.R. 4900?? It is just a slap in the face IMO.

No, Cavarly Arms is out of Gilbert, Arizona. On Feb. 27th 2008 they were raided by the BATFE and had their whole inventory seized.

BATFE showed up at Cav Arms Wednesday morning, with a Private Contractor (Forfeiture Support Associates) and a warrant. According to Shawn (the owner of Cav Arms) the warrant stated ONLY the following "Firearms Violations: Seize Everything." BATFE, as usual, turned the event into a media circus. No, we have not seen a copy of the warrant. At least not yet. Don;t be surprised when we do see it, and what Shawn relates is EXACTLY what it says. Shawn has not seen a copy of the Affidavit that was submitted to a judge to issue the warrant. That is currently under seal.

Everything was seized. All firearms, all computers, etc. Their FFL, however, was not. They are (RIGHT NOW) making lowers for the support Cav Aid through AGP arms.

Ok, well you can't just waltz into, first a federal prosecutor's office, then a federal judges office, and get a warrant without probable cause that a crime has been committed. I don't know if a crime has been committed, but I would bet money that there is probable cause that one has!

You may be right in this case, as the complete info isn't out yet, but have you been following some of the stuff the ATF has been getting away with ???

Read about Red's guns, the case I posted about a week or so ago having to do with the "Machine Guns", the Richmond gun show case from last year ect....

I guess it isn't surprising though, Waco, Ruby Ridge. no one really ever held accountable for those so.....

the ATF has pulled plenty of stunts in the last few yrs .... TOOL

when are you going to realize the Po Po ... can claim anything they want ... then find "Friendly" Judges to sign off on there warrants .......

is committing crimes .... is a threat to public saftey ....


one of the problems are procedures and policies left open to broad interpretation ... one agent can pass a group of forms, the next failed them .....

Well contrary to what you believe the only arrest he has had recently and that was 10 years ago was for a DUI. There should be a warrant out for your arrest, shouldnt being an a$$h.le, be considered indecent exposure !

Is the caviat in your sentence "only arrest he had recently". I don't reall think that applies when the charge you had been arresed for you could have gotten a life sentence. No matter what, you preach your high and mighty then take the name of a drug dealer.

So he did his time, 30 years ago, you are a complete idiot, oh yeah he made a mistake got to drunk thought he could drive got caught. I assume you are perfect?
