Charles Co. ATT Cellphone Signal in La Plata - 07.15.2022

Can someone in the know tell us what happened to the ATT cellphone signal in La Plata for most of the day? Several other ATT customers told me the same thing. That they could not get any signal today in the Town of La Plata. I’m talking about smack dab in the center of the town. ATT seems to have degraded service out in this area. Have a great night!

Cell phone, internet and cable utilities are notoriously lousy in SOMD. And they don't care. You would think with all of the customer revenue potential and government facilities, that these companise would give a hoot. ...................... But they don't. If you don't believe that then just try contacting any of them and see if you can even talk to a "customer service" person. At least one who is in the USA. Usually they don't even bother to answer their phones, emails or anything. They just don't care. Except that you pay that ever-increasing bill for that ever-decreasing service.

And don't try contacting your local politicians who grant cable and tower franchises. They only care about the 10% that their accounts will get.

I have heard complaints about Verizon as well. They claim they have full coverage in their advertisements. But, do they really?

Um, how we forget when a cell provider wants to build a cell site and homeowners have a total meltdown about a tower near their house. They whine, moan and cry about their home value dropping, but when they have dead spots they can't figure out why.
Soooooo.....you got what y'all wanted. Deal with it. Get a phone with wi-fi calling enabled.
Maybe next time a tower is wanting to be built, you won't cry so much about it.
