Welcome race fans,
I am announcing that I am going to start drafting a weekly NASCAR Fantasy Poll Challenge.
So far, I have come up with the idea of
► Awarding each person who correctly guesses the winner of the race 10 points.
► Everybody will be allowed one darkhorse pick each week. That darkhorse pick is any driver outside of the top 20 in NASCAR Sprint Cup Series points (minus the first 5 races). Whoever's darkhorse pick finishes the highest gets 5 points. If somebody's darkhorse pick wins the race, 5 more points.
► Each fan will select the top 5 in the order they think they will finish. 1 point for each driver inside the top 5, 2 points if their position matches up equally with your prediction.
► The winner at season's end gets bragging rights.
► This will be split into 4 heats. The first stretches from Daytona-Dover and through the entire FOX season. The second is the 6 races in the Summer Series. All 6 races in the summer series airs live on TNT. The third segment are the 6 races that air on ESPN leading up to the Chase. The final 10 races are on ABC and complete the fourth segment and the season.
► Winners of the overall segments get 20 additional points toward their overall season tally.
► Daytona and Talladega are double points races as they are harder to predict than anything else. (Harvick at Daytona went from 6th to 1st in a lap

I just made this system up, it's imperfect (much like the Chase) and it is an idea I just randomly had (again, like the Chase). Bear with me through the imperfections as all is fine (like the Chase). And, yes, I just made this up all at once (like BF did the Chase).
I am actively looking for two other people to help out with scoring and suggestions in the event that I am unable to process these.
