I work at the Navy Yard, but already had plans to get as far away from DC as possible this weekend. However, I know there must be a few of you out there who also work there, that may enjoy a free game for you and your family.

The Nationals are offering up to four complimentary tickets to Navy Yard personnel with a valid ID. The tickets must be picked up in advance Friday at the Nationals' box office from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Tickets will be available while supplies last. The team is playing the Miami Marlins on Saturday.

I was surprised we didn't receive a notification at work, though a few news stations are publicizing it, so I believe the offer to be legitimate.

Great incentive for those who probably dread the work location in the first place, and for a non-playoff team.

Not much different than free tickets for the Dreaded Rays, who will be more than likely a playoff team.

Go figure.

Oopps - DC has no monetary income limitations - everybody up there is pretty much immune to federal monetary restrictions.

The DC Beltway economy - pretty much unaffected except for the few by sequestration.
