Hey there everyone...New to the forum, but not SoMD.

Here's the deal I am looking to get my 1993 Jeep Wrangler painted. I'm not looking to make my Jeep a show, just give a make over lol. I'm looking for a single tone green with a clear coat over top. I have searched around and got several companies and phone numbers. I am going to call Monday and see what they tell me...so far I have:

Chesapeake Auto Body (Mechanicsville)
PJ's Auto Body (Great Mills)
Creations Auto Paint (Owings)
Overall Auto Body (Prince Frederick)
Jimmy's Auto Body (Clements)
Two Guys Auto Body (Lex Park)
JNJ Custom (Mechanicsville)
Mike's Custom Painting (Hollywood)

What I was wanting from you guys was any more companies I haven't mentioned, that and the good bad and uglies of the companies I listed above.

So far I have heard bad things about Garys Best Kustomz in Waldorf so I didn't mention him, that and I already talked to True Lines in Prince Frederick and his price was a little more than I had expected to hear. Thanks in advance for your help and advice!!!

Mikes Custom Paint has done some jobs for me and has my business exclusively now. He is consistently cheaper on his estimates than some of the others you have listed. Had some work done at Georges before and was satisfied, but heard way more negative than positive about them.

Jimmy's did my work. Paint was a total match-up. Had hood and driver's side quarter panel done on a 2004. Great job and he goes out of his way to please the customer!!!!

Georges has been doing my cars for years (paint), great results each time.

I took my car to Mikes custom body from a couple of referrals.! I got my car back after 3 days (tiny paint repair job) and it looked like a giant woodpecker had it. A coworker (former auto body painter) took a look at his job and said to take it back immediately. I called him back and he says to bring it in for free repair... not the point though... free isnt me driving back, and getting a rental so i have something to drive, so he can have another attempt to do it right, out of my pocket. hope its done right next time..

I know a guy who's been doing bodywork for at least 20 years, recently started up a company out of his garage. He's done work for me, and has been nothing but fantastic, and fast! Prices are reasonable also.
