Has anyone see it? I just read this article and not sure if it's a marketing ploy, but this almost makes me not want to see it. Thoughts?

(CNN) -- James Cameron's completely immersive spectacle "Avatar" may have been a little too real for some fans who say they have experienced depression and suicidal thoughts after seeing the film because they long to enjoy the beauty of the alien world Pandora.

On the fan forum site "Avatar Forums," a topic thread entitled "Ways to cope with the depression of the dream of Pandora being intangible," has received more than 1,000 posts from people experiencing depression and fans trying to help them cope. The topic became so popular last month that forum administrator Philippe Baghdassarian had to create a second thread so people could continue to post their confused feelings about the movie.

There's a thread on Avatar, but I guess someone posted it in another forum for some reason.

There have been jokes that Avatar is basically the same story as Pocahantas, which is true I guess. But hey, good story, good graphics (some people whine that when they did animated together with human it wasn't good...whatever), and I thought overall it was a good movie.

As for this whole suffering depression because we can't live on this alien land of Pandora...if those tree-hugging hippies want to live in Pandora then they can move to Africa or maybe Australia and they'll be just fine.

I thought it was really really good. Despite what some critics say, it was one of the best movies I have ever seen...

Go Braves!
We (me and 3 boys ages 8 and 7x's 2) loved it! The boys sat for the entire 3 hours without a peep! Might have helped that we saw it in 3D too.
