NBC Sports on msnbc.com has highlights for all those who ESPN screwed out of seeing the awards ceremony.

It came on Friday at 9pm EST on ESPN Classic :wtf: and at 12am (which actually meant 12:30am) on ESPN2.

How'd you get screwed out of seeing it?

I wasn't home, but I dvr'd it just fine. :shrug:

I don't know what it is about that show ... they can never get the entertainment/feel quite right.

Yea, and David Spade sucked only a gnat's ass-hair less than Jay No-Mohr.

They need Larry the Cable Guy, Jeff Foxworthy or Ron White hosting and providing entertainment. NASCAR is not Hollywood.

This was the first time in a long while that I didn't bother to watch it. First, the JJ and JG hype all season wore me out and I couldn't bear to watch any more. Second, I was tired of Jay Mohr's drunken "humor" and insults the first time and the so-called entertainment sucks (except when Harry Connick, Jr. performed one year ). Third, no offense against the drivers but their speeches are more and more scripted each year and it makes me uncomfortable to watch them. And lastly, I just can't stay awake any more -- it's too late and too long.

It was on ESPN Classic on satellite.

ESPN2 re-aired it at 12, meaning 12:30.

When does ESPN takeover? July?

FOX is okay and TNT's all-star coverage rocks.

If NASCAR's as concerned about ratings as they say they are, they'll end their contract with ESPN.

The fact that they put Indianapolis on ESPN and ESPN2 kills me.

Unfortanently, all the other nets have NFL and CBS would never give up NFL for NASCAR.

If I have to listen to Suzy Kolber, Jerry Punch, Crusty Wallace, Mike Massaro, Jamie Little, Shannon Spake, Tim Brewer, Erik Kruselias, Andy Petree, Randy Lajoie and Brent Musburger next season, my ears will explode!

I'm told it was the same person who did the intro to all the ESPN Cup races (where they played that god awful Rhianna song that has NOTHING to do with racing).

She does suck, indeed. She fits in with the rest of NASCAR on ESPN though.
