awkward moment

Parked the car at Harris Teeter the other day and was walking towards the store. As I normally do, if I see someone pushing their empty cart back to the sidewalk, I offer to take it for them, because, I probably need it too.

Well, a soccer "birthing human" was finished loading its car with "I'm with Hillary", Obama and Biden stickers,, LGBiTXRX decals on the hatch. As it started to push the cart back, I asked if I could, and it sort of snarled at me. A small human in some sporting uniform was getting into the vehicle, and I asked, "who won the game dude?"....

well, you guessed it.

As someone who also visits the HT weekly, have you ever seen anoyone use the Tesla chargers?

Just curious.

They've been there forever and I've only once seen it in use.

They are almost always in use when I stop there, but never more than 3 at a time, mostly just one. Non-EV people have started to use the spots to park in.

Really hate it when we're running on fumes (so-to-speak, need an updated analogy for electric vehicles down to the last few 'trons) and some non-electric vehicle is parked at the charger. Most often happens at Wawas/Sheetz when we're on a road trip. We use the HT one all the time, cause they are free rather than charge at home and get the "you used more electricity than your greenie neighbors" email from SMECO.

If it rained or the batteries got wet, it caught on fire. Or, it ran out of juice before it got to charger.

Speaking of HT, anyone else notice that the employees use the parking spots closest to the store? I mean come on man, walk your lazy adz to work from a spot near Starbucks. Lazy adz Mofo's
You would think the employers would tell that to the employees from day 1

Back in the day, I worked at Mattingly's IGA/Finer Foods as a stock clerk/bag boy. We were required to park farther out in the lot by management to leave the closer spaces for customers. It really shows how far we've come as a society. Me first mother ****er!

I see it more on weekends than on weekdays. Which makes sense. And you will see it more in the summer than winter.

1. Weekday shopping trips are usually get in get out quick sort of affairs, not really enough time to make it worth it.
2. Weekend trips are stock up trips are longer and so is more likely to be worthwhile to park and plug.
3. Since over 80% of people with EVs charge at home, Superchargers see the most use from people travelling away from home. Since our tourism is pretty seasonal and we are not on the way anywhere else, you will see more out of towners in the summer. The Superchargers in Dahlgren, however, will see a lot more winter traffic.

I ALWAYS get those. Of course, they are comparing my house square footage based on old data, so it's not a fair comparison.

That's annoying as hell. I've got five people in the house, while the nearest four houses are all occupied by one or two people.

We get those and I ignore them because a lot of the neighbors have solar panels.
A SMECO employee admitted to me that they do not have a complete data set on the houses they "compare" you against.

And you claim they are the triggered ones.

You seem pretty butt hurt based on a lot of assumptions.

Mary, Oh Mary...please help me... I have introspectively reflected on that post and even I, a trained observer, cant see the "butt hurt" evidence you speak of. Now, pretend this was a documentary with Don Lemon, ( a fired CNN gender fluid human) who chronicles his. sorry, its observations like 60 minutes and highlight the evidence of "butt hurt". Thank You in advance.

She thinks that because she spends her life being butthurt over strangers on the internet, everyone does.
