He is such a cute one. Here's to hoping he gets a home before prime kitten season hits.SoftballCrazy said:Look at this face...how adorable...

Tri Cty does spay/neuter...I think Animals4Life was referring to spring and all the other kittens that will be born soon, and this one may not get a chance to be adopted when prime kitten season is around the corner...SouthernMdRocks said:Don't they spay or neuter all before adoption?
Thanks for clearing that up for me SoftballCrazy! That is exactly what I was implying. Tri-County does spay and neuter all animals before they are adopted into their new homes but unfortunately they take in way more then are ever adopted. Last year they took in over 7,000 cats/kittens and less then 400 were adopted from there. Lucky for the cats the local rescue groups were able to pull about 1,500 but that still means that about 5,000 were euthanized last year and these numbers do not include all of the unwanted cats running around not in the shelter. It is sad to think that society as a whole has let this happen to the animals.SoftballCrazy said:Tri Cty does spay/neuter...I think Animals4Life was referring to spring and all the other kittens that will be born soon, and this one may not get a chance to be adopted when prime kitten season is around the corner...
