Has anyone thrown a bday party @ Dunkirk Park in the pavillion thingy? I was considering having my son(turning 1) and neices(turning 5) party there in September.

How did it turn out?

I have attended one there and it was fine.
They brought in pizza & cake with them and all the kids loved it.

Yeah, I was thinking of loading up the charcoal grill and taking it with us to do burgers and stuff. I'm not sure they let you bring your own grill. They give you those dinky little ones, but we're talking maybe 30-50 people to be at the birthday party.

We have a large family and 2 childrens friends will be attending..So, I am not sure I should go this route, but I figured the kids would love it and the parents can just hang out.

With that many peoply coming you might want to call parks and rec and try to reserve 1-2 pavillions. If it's not reserved it's first-come/first-serve and you might not be able to use one. I've taken my own grill to Hallowing Pt. Park, they just won't let you bring in alcohol.
