Baby Clothes and Toys

Does anyone know of consignment shops or the like for baby equipment?

We recently went through my son's winter clothes from last year and have an entire kitchen garbage bag full of clothes in good condition which are unwearable by him. I also have a brand new box of Size 4 Huggies diapers that he doesn't wear (we switched to pull ups for potty training), and I have 4 boxes of toys I haven't even opened since we moved here almost 2 months ago.

If there is no consignment shop around, are there any parents that would be interested in looking through the items and making me offers?

Thief Store in Lexington Park next to County Sports. :yay:

County sports moved over by Jay's barber shop.

kris31280 - There is a thrift store in the park. Just down from linda's cafe. You won't get anything but a reciept for a tax deduction though.

I am so very blessed
There is a place in Lusby called "Calvert Kids" that is a consignment shop for children's clothes and baby products (strollers, high chairs, monitors, and the sort). They have some really nice merchandise in there, which means that they are pretty thorough in only accepting nice quality items.

They are in the shopping plaza (Lusby town Square) near the Post Office, if I recall correctly. Their phone number is 410-394-1234.

There's a new shop in Mechanicsville call "Just Between Kids". It's on Rt 5 south next to Shear Image and Bayshore Eyecare.

The thing is there are yard sales filled with kids stuff every saturday for next to nothing. So your best bet is to have a yard sale, Ebay or try the wonderful somd classified section here.

Yeah both of her store are closed. She had no business. Good idea but her prices were to high for second hand clothes.

I used to buy off the clearance rack. When the summer or winter clothes on on clearance I would buy a size or two larger for the next seasons and store it until he can wear it. I saved a lot of money by doing this and they got to wear tons of name brand clothes.

But she is trying to get rid of clothes so this is no help. LOL

LOVE that place! BUT, I don't believe they are accecpting clothes right now. I think mainly halloween and christmas things. But they will pay you cash for your stuff. I went in there for the first time a couple weeks ago. I think most of the things I bought, mainly sleepers, cost around $3. Got her some shoes for cheap also, they looked brand new.

My fiance had been bugging me to get her a camoflauge onesie. Cabellas was selling them for around $20!!! Found on in that store for $3.00. Brand new with tags. Though I'm sure my baby girl will hate me when she gets older for it!
