Maloney's Store (down by the nice bridge) use to carry these sammichs' indivdually wrapped called a ChuckWagon
Do they still make them and where can I get one?

I've tried to make them myself, but it doesn't taste the same.

I believe what you are referring to is a Stewart Sandwich. They were ready made and packed in a plastic bag and had to be heated in an oven. Maloney's was quite a place in the day. I especially remember Big Dennis. Quite large but one of the nicest people that I ever knew. Also used to hang out at Aqua Land and the old amusement park when it was up and running.

You can buy old chuckwagon patties in the grocery store.. They would be by the hams and barbecue in Food Lion.

I want one about every two years. A fried breaded pork sammich... Bad for you..

Yes, it was a Stewarts sandwich and I loved those things. Still get a craving now and then. What made them so good?
