BackYard Habitat!

My husband leaves in May to report back to the ship. To pass time, while he is gone and do something for our community. The kids and I have decided to create a backyard habitat, that we will have certified by the National Wildlife Foundation. We are hoping to find some items, and have everything together before May. If you know anyone who is getting rid of the following items please pass my email address along(ElvishLore@aol.com). The kids are really looking fwd to this, but I can not afford to go out and buy all this stuff. So please we are looking for items that are free or extremely cheap.

Clean Fill dirt
Manure
Old row boat (holes ok)
Garden tools
Old bird houses
bricks
rocks
Yard decor

What a great idea!!

I have a blog on Myspace that lists some plants that attract butterflies. The plants are natural to this area and serve as the butterflies hosts and their food source....

YEAH!! Part of her design may be to add some wooden pallets and some cinder blocks to the old car she'll have as the focal point of the whole thing...

Throw a pit bull tied to a chain in there..You'd have yerself a regular work of art.

I am trying to picture what she has in mind and where the boat fits in.
