Police Officer Justin Gabrys responded Friday at 6:14 a.m. to an Ann Street residence, where a woman reported she went on her first date Thursday evening with a man she knows only by the name “Joel.” She told police she met “Joel” on a dating website and believes he lives in Elizabeth, according to Detective Sgt. William Woodhull Jr.

The woman stated that Joel was at her house and she became occupied in another room, leaving him alone for a period of time. When she re-entered the room, Joel was gone, along with her Yorkie and her flat screen television valued at $3,000. The woman said the dog is worth $4,000, Woodhull said.

And that, boys & girls, is why it's wise to meet someplace in public for the first time. I wonder if she was looking for a 'generou$' man, cuz a girl gots bills to pay

she must have been occupied in another room for quite some time if he had time to take her dog and a TV. Idiot.
