I am interested, being Italian on my mom's side and taught by her, my Nonnie and both great grandmothers, as well as my Nonno. I'm the only one of 17 grandchildren he showed how to make his sauce.

Been pleased and disappointed over the years.

One of the best I found over the years, outside my home town, was a little hole in the wall place in San Angelo, TX called A Taste of Italy.

wtf happened to brick coming 😢
It’s the same owners, so I’m excited that they will bring the same quality to this new venture. I was very disappointed with Mamma Lucia there. The two times I went the service was awful. Walked out the first time because I was seated and never waited on. The second time was almost as bad and the food was barely good.

I'm surprised the food was bad. That's been the rub on that place since forever - food is delicious, service is crap.

Never an issue in the PF Mama Lucias when I went there..thought they were a little overpriced but not that much. Always seemed busy to me, not sure why they closed but I heard a rumor that their rent doubled and they said we're outta here.

I’ve always had great food and service at Dunkirk location too. Don’t know how the beach location was so bad.

Maybe once this new restaurant is open some folks might want to do a meet n greet.
