Ban motorcycle club logos?

Kinda silly, but if they did do it the gangs could dress to be identified. Hells Angels could dress like Victorias Secret Angels, Pagans could wear druid robes, some gang could dress like nerds with black glasses and pocket protectors etc.

Next they will ban school jackets. There are plans in some states to ban the Confederate flag, we might even ban Crosses that's being tried.

Ban this, ban that Liberties going out the door.

Listen to this idiot. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-bheZ8wS46E

“Any government big enough to give you everything you want is big enough to take away everything you have."

Start the banning and where does it end.

The feds aren't trying to ban anything, just illegally stop the use of.

The Feds are trying to usurp commerce law. These biker "clubs" are basically private member clubs that have membership dues. The logos are representative of the concern. Even if they were never registered, or trademarked, they would still have protection because of "first use in commerce". The government can not claim rights to anything they haven't used, or are planning to use, unless it belonged to them from the beginning, just like you or me.

Saying the use of their logos furthers criminal enterprise is a seriously laughable joke. How about Bank of America, JP Morgan Chase, Citi, and many other type business logos? Talk about a criminal enterprise.

If this goes through, I would hate to see the distances the gang members would go with their facial tattoos to identify with their tribes.

ummmm or try to ban the wearing of burka's and other Muslim attire.......

I don't think they will be successful at "banning" the logo's of these outlaw motorcycle gangs, but I don't see what that has to do with people practicing a legitimate religion? Do you think people become Muslim's in order to break laws?

Um...er...uh...bikers who join "OUTLAW" motorcycle clubs ususally do so to break laws. That is the purpose of being an outlaw.

They, bikers, sometimes break the laws of a given community, the United States. Is Sharia law compliant with the laws of the United States? Further, do biker gangs form so that they can break US laws or do they form because they'd like to live life as they see fit and some of those ways break US law? Sharia law is certainly fair and understood within it's own communities but it seems self evident that a lot of it is unacceptable to US law, including clothing requirements.

I don't know the ins and outs of Sharia law. I do know that wearing a burqa is not unlawful.

Today, people who join outlaw biker gangs do so in order to further a criminal organization. Otherwise, they would join biker clubs. Not outlaw biker clubs. Saying outlaw bikers are just guys who want to live in a community which may break laws is like saying Italians who join the mafia are only doing so to hang with people of their own kind.

If their breaking a law here and there didn't have such a corrosive influence on the communities they invade, nobody would really care. They are one of the main organizations spreading mexican meth across the country. I know, there are some guys with relatively clean records among them, but plenty of them are simply thugs.

Real easy way to put and end to that business.

In any event, I'm not advocating for or against. I am making the observation that Islam isn't compatible with individual freedom and liberty. At least joining a biker gang/club is a choice.

You know most of the people arrested in Waco had no criminal convictions, yes? I'm not arguing they are the little sisters of the poor. Just stating a fact. As for burka's, you can google a bit and find out parts of sharia that are not compatible with the US Constitution. The requirement, not the choice, the requirement, is but one.
