They knew the levees broke. WHO CARES?! What magical people were they supposed to have magically appeared there in hours who could magically fix all of it? Also, almost everyone WAS rescued. And one more thing... Why are they all Hurricane Katrina survivors? There were hardly any dead in relation to the size of the storm! Its not like a tsunami survivor or an Indian earthquake survivor.

The Dems have to keep all of this stuff alive so it can be recalled during the next campaign go-round. And we all know that George dubya was responsible for that hurricane. Yessir, called in a direct hit on N'awlins. It was all part of his plot - hold back dam funding so they get really deteriorated, then slam 'em with a hurricane. NORAD controls hurricanes, you know. Ever since they finished learning all they could from that space ship at Area 51. Notice how Washington weather has been kinda like Texas weather for the whole time he's been in the White House? All he has to do is call the Air Force and they fix it.

Did you guys hear Barney Frank (D-MA) saying that Bush's lack of effort to respond to Katrina was akin to ethnic cleansing by inaction? Frank was on Hardball last night defending his comments by saying that he was thinking about mass murder when he said ethnic cleansing, only that it meant getting a type of people out of an area. Even Mathews had to toss the flag on that one, saying that people only know the term ethnic cleansing because of it's direct affiliation with genocide.
