I don't bank with any of the overlord banks - I was OG boycotter.
I used a Credit Union for some 30 years, I have NEVER had an account at one of the Major brands, I got my wife out of Chase as soon as we were married.
Back in High School I did have an account with one of the Md local banks - United [ in the 80's ]
When in Colorado Springs 85 - 87 I had a local bank there as well Central Bank

I went from Citizens Bank of MD to Bank of St. Marys, after which it became Mercntile, and left after they got bought by PNC.
I was on a couple of accounts for my Mother and Grandfather through Chevy Chase but after they passed, all accounts were closed.
Sticking with NAVY FED.

Bank of Southern Maryland [ they had a branch right in Oxon Hill Growing Up - mid to late 70's ]
I remember Sovern ? , but if I recall correctly Sovern came from somewhere else - buying out a local MD Bank
I'll take it back further to Suburban Trust.
