Elizabeth Hasselbeck was on F&F this morning. She said that BW was a mentor and a huge influence on her career.

Whenever I think of that pacifist , I think of Hugh Downs and Gene Shallet from the early days of the Today Show. I think there was a reporter, Frank Blair too.... And if you are really, really going back to Dave Garroway, they had a teletype machine chopping out the weather of cities in alphabetical order...kind of like a stock market ticker tape in some 1940's movie....
