Barkbox

So I signed up for the monthly BarkBox. I know...I have a problem.

Anyhow, when you sign up, you size your dog Small, medium, large, and that's it. Since I have little monsters, I chose the small box for the 6 month rate. But I was a little nervous. They don't tell you what you are getting until after the fact. It's a "surprise". You don't get to say "hey my dog needs wheat free" or my dog only weighs 5 lbs or anything. So I worried and worried until the box arrived.

First off, if all the boxes are like this, I do not regret spending the money. I am more than getting my money's worth.

*a full size treat bag from the Feel Good Treat Company "Turkey Trail Blazin' Bits". They are organic treats that wheat, gluten and preservative free. And they are a super hit. http://feelgoodtreatco.com/img/product_trailblazin1_lrg.jpg

* a bright purple wool snake toy by Lollycadoodle. Little Evil stole it right away. It seems pretty durable.
Lollycadoodle - Collection

*a rubber toy called the Humanga Stache from Moody Pet. This thing is hilarious. It has a ball on one side and mustache on the other. Little Dumby won't let me take a picture, but once I do... Humunga Stache

*Tropiclean teeth gel, which is something I already buy from Peppers. It is a full size product. Fresh Breath

*One full sized designer roll of Metro Paws Poopy Paks. This actually is great for when we go on travel or out in public with the pups.

Other things, I received included a pet prescription card for Wal*Mart and a discount purchase card for Wags online.

So if you can get a discount code and were interested in trying it, it is well worth your money.

I'm not sure what was in the other sized boxes, but here was September's boxes:

Does the Tropiclean Gel work as good as their video claims? I've been looking at the different products. Your the first person I've come across that actually use one of them.

Pepper's Pet Pantry actually recommended it for the big dog who wouldn't let me in his mouth for long. I continue using it on the little dogs.

So, yes it does work pretty good, if you follow the rules/directions. No food/drink/chewies afterwards for a few hours. I know in our house, it's tempting to let them have a treat after some kind of grooming.

Thanks. I decided to drive to Peppers in Calvert yesterday to get some. Glad I did since it was over $3 cheaper for the larger bottle than it was for the smaller size bottle at Petco. Gonna start using it today.

Got the pups Bark Box for the month. Again I get the box for the "small" dogs.

* Bionic Bone - it's for a super chewer (kind of like a kong) and can be stuffed with treats and frozen. The Pups weren't impressed, but it hadn't been stuffed with anything. BIONIC Pet Products | Bionic Toys, Dog Toys | Dogs, Puppies

* Antler Rope Toy - this is actually kind of cool. It's a rope toy with a real moose antler (harvested from discarded antlers). It was an immediate hit and I think I'll buy more products from this company.

* Pumpkin Smoothie - It's in the freezer right now. I'm sure it's a winner. Natural Dog Treats | Healthy Dog Treats | Smoothies for Dogs

* Pumpkin Blueberry Fruitables - This is a very large bag, which I'm glad is resealable, cause the dogs will be eating them for a while. I haven't opened it, but I know it's a winner as the Pups love Fruitables. I normally get them from Peppers Pet Pantry. Fruitables© Pet Food - Official Site

* A $10 gift card to Mr. Chewy's website

* A one month subscription to DogTV

*$10 off Rover.com a pet sitting service which unfortuantely doesn't have a nearby location
