My Golden wouldn't have thought twice.

LOL, Two choc labs we used to have would loose their minds waiting for chunks of honeydew melon to eat, when my ex would come home from shopping.
One of them would pick bell peppers and eat them like an apple when they would get ripe.

My Bulldog would go after watermelon like that....he'd go face first into it and would stop until it was gone or all over his face.
