Christy said:Our walls are good to go, the actual tub and tile are good, they're just, well you know, that lovely 70's mint green and marigold yellow. The guy actually said that the tubs we have are very high quality tubs. Which he didn't really have to tell me that since I have always loved those tubs with the exception of the color, thus going the bath fitter route, so as to keep them as a base to hold in that good heat. And also that they are about 400 lbs a piece, so removing them will really suck for whoever had the task of pulling them out, which most definitely would not be me.
We're probably going to have the upstairs tub done and see how we like it, if we really like them, we'll have my tub done.
I'm just putting out feelers to see if anyone else has had it done, and if they were happy with them.

If all is sound, then go for it!

I've seen the finished product and it looks nice.

Nanny Pam said:I have not used them yet, but I know of 2 families that did. They did an awesome job. It was fast, too. I think it was done in 1 day, but I'm not 100% sure.
Both families are pleased.
I will be using them someday down the road, when my Dad moves in with me.
