Bad Crash on Bayside at Willy Lane. Two to fly out, one with CPR in progress and may not be able to fly. Road to be shut down for a while.

MMDad, not being critical at all here, i think it's Willie Lane, first left hand turn on bayside past Breezy Point rd. heading south.

WOW....There is next to nothing left of that black car! That road is always bad Iand I doubt there is a way to "fix" it any time soon.
Prayers for all involved, the EMS folks too!!!

No problem, I got it from the scanner and didn't look it up. Sounded pretty bad. They called for one chopper before any fire or EMS arrived, first to arrive called for the second chopper.

Just got the Nixle alert that the road has reopened. Closed for three hours means is a long investigation. Doesn't sound good for the injured.

Off topic, but here's the Nixle email I got at 2:31 PM:

Advisory: AVOID Location for the next Timeframe due to traffic incident. Some roads closed.



It was followed fifteen minutes later by an alert with actual information in it though.

It is true and the article has been updated. Judge Claggett is in critical condition.

Here is a thought how to really help...

The Red Cross is hosting a blood drive on March 5th at the Calvert County Courthouse.
Perhaps if you go and ask that your donation of blood be credited to Judge Clagett. Just a thought. Can't hurt!
