Perhaps this will help explain it:

Typically when a fundraiser event has a beer truck, it is either donated or at a very reduced cost to the event organization. Bottled water and soda, however, are charged at full price. That's why they can give unlimited beer pours for the price of admission, but there is an extra fee for water and soda.

Civista is encouraging having a DD by giving them free water and soft drinks if they're not drinking beer, and consider it an overhead cost.

now I'm

are the sodas and waters "free" or are they 2.00 each in addition to the ticket price of 20?
The $20 donation gets you the 4oz. sample cup for unlimited pours of beer. If you are not planning to drink beer and would still like to come, then you can make the $20 donation and receive soda or water for no additional cost.

However, if you are there drinking beer and decide to get a soda or a bottle of water, that would be an additional $2.

Or to simplify...

You no drink beer - free water/soda
You drink beer - pay $2 for water/soda

$20 ticket is a donation for the fundraiser event.

Are you one of those people that takes their dog in Lowes?
and yes.... I do take my dog into lowes. (not all the time) More for training and getting them use to a different enviroment, floor, smells and a busy enviroment. Lowes have been awesome about letting my working dogs come in.
